Focus on the Family® Australia is a not-for-profit organisation committed to strengthening families and communities.

While many of our programs have a strong preventative and education emphasis, assisting individuals and families in times of crisis and need is also important. We are able to do this through the provision of:

1. Crisis counselling

Many of the counselling enquiries we receive are via telephone, email or surface mail.

2. Referral to other counsellors and services

A growing national referral network of professional counsellors and agencies enables us to refer individuals to specialist services that are often more conveniently located for the person seeking help. Counsellors on our referral network are not employees of Focus on the Family Australia and have their own fee structure. Although each member of the referral network are scrutinised, we do not endorse or make specific recommendations.
